  •  HOW IT STARTED

Sustainable living was always part of my life. I have an aversion to waste, mass-produced goods and unfair labour remuneration.

It was on the 17th of May 2020, when an idea that was so exciting came to my mind. That day was Sunday, my favourite day of the week because the best ideas come to me when I am relaxed, well-rested and connected to my deep self.
I am passionate about interior design and making a home feel like an oasis of peace and comfort is always my end goal. So my idea was to create a bedsheet collection using sustainable fabrics. I started researching fabrics and suppliers and I ordered a few samples to get a better idea about the quality.
The fabric I found and really loved, the organic rose petal fabric, was not wide enough to make bedsheets, therefore I had to change the product category as I still wanted to bring that fabric to life, to be used and enjoyed. After reconsidering my options I decided to launch a women's clothing line and make garments that actually can help women feel peaceful and very comfortable.  I wanted something in a simple cut, with minimal sewing and easily removable labels. Our dresses feel like wearing nothing because that is how lustrous and delicate the rose petal fabric is. It makes you feel like floating in comfort.
  • BRAND NAME SOURCE

HUZUR is an ottoman word used in Romania and Turkey. In Romanian, it means ease and comfort. In Turkish, it means peace state of mind, tranquillity, and serenity.

To me personally, it means the ultimate relaxed state of mind, no worries, no stress, no to-do's, just peaceful, carefree, happy living. It is a word that my mom uses every time we are together during a holiday, especially in the countryside when we do only things that bring joy to our souls. Watching the sunrise, smelling the flowers in the garden, petting our dog and cats, taking a walk in the village, by the river, or just chilling, having snacks, tea and a nice conversation.
